Role Information
The company is looking to hire an experienced Institutional Sales Associate to join their team, reporting to the Head of Sales. This position will focus on driving sales of the company\\'s validation services to institutional clients, including hedge funds, venture capital firms, family offices, and other institutional investors. The role will also involve working closely with custodial partners, such as Ledger Enterprise, BitGo, and Cobo Custody, to enhance institutional involvement in the company’s validator network. Ideal candidates will have experience in institutional sales within traditional finance or the crypto industry, and a willingness to travel regularly to drive client acquisition independently.
Salary range - $100-$200k Dependent on experience.
Key Responsibilities
Drive institutional sales for the company’s validation services, targeting clients such as hedge funds, venture capital firms, and family offices.
Collaborate with key custodial partners to explore additional institutional staking opportunities for the company’s validators.
Independently manage the sales process from initial outreach and prospecting through to closing major client deals.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with institutional clients and custodial partners to ensure continued growth in staking activities.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetups, with regular travel to meet clients and expand the institutional client base.
Work alongside the Head of Sales and other team members to implement strategies that support revenue growth and enhance client satisfaction.
What They Look for in Candidates
1-3 years of relevant experience in sales or business development within the financial sector, asset management, fintech, brokerage, or a crypto-related project.
A strong understanding of the crypto and DeFi landscape, including concepts like staking, smart contracts, and crypto-native features.
Proven ability to acquire and close high-profile institutional clients independently.
High-energy, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a dynamic, client-facing role within a small, high-impact team.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for clients and partners.
Flexibility to travel monthly for conferences and client meetings.
