Role Information
Seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with a strong blend of technical skills and business acumen to maintain, scale, automate, and optimize a high-performing infrastructure. This role involves collaborating closely with others to deliver projects from start to finish, including creating operational procedures, instructions, training materials, and documentation. The role requires independent thinking, sound decision-making, and creative solutions.
Salary Range - $100-200k Dependent on experience.

Core Competencies
Expertise in deploying and managing blockchain environments such as Substrate, Ethereum, Cosmos, and Solana
Proficiency with Web 2 platforms like NodeJS, React, and NextJS for application deployment
Ability to create and manage scripts using bash, Ansible, and TypeScript
Familiarity with Git and compiling projects in Rust, GoLang, and C++
Experience working with virtualized environments, ideally Proxmox
Primary Objectives
Monitor and maintain all infrastructure and system installations, including configuration, testing, and updates
Develop and enforce strategies for security, redundancy, and data backups
Enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting capabilities
Participate in an on-call rotation for critical issues
Act as a point of escalation for complex issues
Provide end-to-end support for issue resolution, including ticket handling, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
Conduct advanced server and network troubleshooting
Identify, address, and resolve potential infrastructure challenges proactively
Collaborate with the data team to develop analytics solutions
Complete assigned tasks with a focus on optimizing and growing infrastructure capabilities.
