Role Information
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Senior Sales Executive to join our team at a leading cryptocurrency news media outlet. With a readership of over 3 million per month and 25M monthly impressions, we stand as an influential player in the world of cryptocurrency news. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the crypto and blockchain industry, coupled with a proven track record in sales and business development. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their advertising needs, and providing tailored solutions that align with our media offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, develop, and close sales opportunities with advertisers looking to reach a crypto-savvy audience.
Maintain a deep understanding of our media products, including digital advertising, sponsored content, and event sponsorships.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with clients and advertising agencies.
Work closely with the editorial and marketing teams to develop innovative advertising packages and solutions.
Attend industry events and conferences to network with potential clients and promote our media brand.
Track and report on sales performance metrics and provide insights to the management team to drive sales strategies.
Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profits while maintaining client satisfaction.
Requirements:
Must have existing relationships with enterprise and mid-sized companies in the space
The ability to close recurring and/or large ticket sales
Familiar with news / publishing / advertising / PR space
Proven sales experience, preferably in digital media, advertising, or the cryptocurrency industry.
Strong understanding of the cryptocurrency and blockchain landscape.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Proficiency in CRM software.
Existing relationships in the news and media space, particularly with large corporations, is a significant advantage.
