Role Information

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Associate to join our Finance team. The primary focus of this role will be on statutory accounts reporting and managing the company-level financial statement closing process. The Financial Reporting Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the overall financial analysis and decision-making process.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review statutory accounts and financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.

Coordinate and manage the company-level financial statement closing process, ensuring all deadlines are met and accurate financial information is reported.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to gather necessary information and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.

Conduct detailed financial analysis, identify trends, and provide insights to support senior management in decision-making processes.

Assist in the implementation and enhancement of financial reporting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations, providing recommendations for process improvements and ensuring compliance with new requirements.

Support external audit processes by preparing requested documentation, responding to inquiries, and assisting in the resolution of audit findings.

Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or similar professional certification is preferred.

3 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, statutory accounts preparation, or financial statement analysis.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP), and regulatory requirements.

Proficient in financial statement analysis and interpretation, with the ability to identify trends, variances, and potential risks.

Experience with the financial statement closing process and familiarity with month-end and year-end closing activities.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and establish effective working relationships with cross-functional teams.

Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement mindset, always seeking opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
