Talent Acquisition Specialist

A Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, screening, and interviewing job candidates. They work with hiring managers to identify vacancies and post job listings online and on other recruitment channels. They also proactively reach out to talented individuals who may be a good fit for the company. Once a candidate has been identified, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will conduct initial screenings to assess their suitability for the role. If the candidate passes this stage, they will be invited to interview with the hiring manager. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will also work with the chosen candidate during the offer stage, to ensure that they accept the position.

Talent Acquisition Specialists are often responsible for onboarding new hires and helping them to acclimatise to their new workplace. As such, they play a vital role in ensuring that companies are able to attract and retain top talent.
