AI Researcher AI researchers are responsible for developing new techniques and algorithms for artificial intelligence systems. They work to improve the performance and accuracy of machine learning models, and are also involved in the creation of new AI applications. To be a successful AI researcher, a strong background in computer science, mathematics, and statistics is essential.

Salary range

EUR 5000 to EUR 9000+ Per Month

Qualifications, training and skills required
  • In addition to a strong academic background, AI researchers need to have excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills. They should be familiar with programming languages such as Python and R, and be able to work with large data sets. Good communication skills are also important, as AI researchers often work in interdisciplinary teams and need to be able to explain their work to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Extra desired training
  • A PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field is often required for advanced positions in AI research
  • Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) techniques
  • Experience with reinforcement learning
  • Ability to conduct independent research and write research papers
  • Ability to present research findings and attend conferences to network and collaborate with other researchers in the field.
