Role Information

The Country Manager, Brazil will join our GBS team and will be instrumental in launching Crypto-com products in the country/region and accelerating the world\'s transition to cryptocurrency. Candidate will be responsible for creating and consistently achieving the company’s short and long terms goals and objectives. Must be a self-starter who exhibits strong passion for building and leading teams and projects, managing delivery timelines and be accountable for expansion roadmap execution and country’s results.

Job Responsibilities

Create and execute on country operational and commercial growth strategy including building the required infrastructure needed to support the company\'s growth

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the local business unit and work in collaboration with the Brazilian team and the GM Latam to ensure regional alignment Ensure the product(s) brought to market are aligned to the business objectives and contribute to increasing market share, community engagement, customer retention, and product ; customer profitability.

Ensure localized products are launched on-time, in collaboration with the PMO and operations team

Be the liaison with local counselors and service providers to ensure smooth operations

Be familiar with all reporting/filing obligations as a company in front of the BR authorities (such as, Central Bank, Board of Commerce, etc) Work with and support the Compliance and Risk team to ensure products and legal documents are fully compliant with all local regulatory requirements

Build new business relationships and expand the value proposition for the customer and expand distribution

Conduct regular reviews on market trends and study competitor activities to identify opportunities

Support management team with new market and partnerships opportunities, including developing and signing new relationships with regional Partners (such as acquirers and other partners)

Knowledge of Cards, Payments ecosystem and Payments industry expertise, specifically consumer payments

Job Requirement

8-10 years professional experience and knowledge of the Brazilian Payments Ecosystem Familiar with the Regulatory/ Bureaucratic requirements and reporting responsibilities

Result oriented with a hands-on approach, Analytical / decision making skills and with Business acumen.

Creative and resourceful in overcoming barriers and challenges Excellent communication skills both verbally and in written form effectively

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management in an organized, professional manner

Ability to work within and lead a cross functional team.

Ability to assimilate a large amount of information to identify data driven action plans Understanding of financial performance of the product portfolios

Requires general business skills, financial management, planning skills and long-term vision

Understands internal/external partners and customer needs, establishing credibility and building successful relationships

Knowledge of Product Development Life Cycle Knowledge of the Brazilian payments and regulatory requirements
